Greetings from the ProWebSurfer team. What’s New?

Major updates to the ProWebSurfer (version 3.0 – Firefox users) were distributed in April. As we spend more time writing code than marketing, you may have missed this. New features include:
- New “Passive Search” capability, which allows you to enter a search string and ProWebSurfer will use this to find ad replacement content: for example, choose “Ceramic Ferret” as your search term for the PWS Yahoo option, and ads will be replaced by…ceramic ferrets.
- The new passive search allows you to take your searches with you wherever you go on the web.
- New eBay search option – like passive search, use our toolbar to track items you are looking for on eBay. Enter the term in our search box for the “PWS eBay” option, and we will display your desirables as they come up for auction. Cool.
- ProWebSurfer now works with Firefox 3.0.
- New “Mouse Add” feature – allowing you to add images to your albums by right-clicking on images on the web.
- Facebook Friends: for Facebook users, you can now replace ads with images of your Facebook Friends. See who is online, click on their image and see their latest news. Very cool – learn more here.
